Do your wild hormones need taming?

Had enough of being ruled by your hormones and want to take back control so that you can feel amazing in your own skin?
I hear you. There's very few women that don't experience some kind of hormone-related issue at some point during their lives - me included. They can crop up at any time - from when we hit our early teens until menopause (and sometimes beyond). And unfortunately, in a lot of cases, the only solutions we are offered to "resolve" them is to go on some form of hormonal contraception or get pregnant.
You deserve better - we all deserve better. And the most frustrating part is that the answer for many women is within our own control - we're just not being given the tools or support to make it happen.
Do you:
  • experience heavy, painful or irregular periods?
  • regularly miss periods altogether (post-pill or otherwise)?
  • deal with PMS, irritability, food cravings, bloating and/or headaches at times during your cycle?
  • suffer with mood swings, low mood, anxiety and/or brain fog related to your cycle?
  • think you may be perimenopausal?
  • get acne, struggle to lose weight or have thyroid issues?

Then I've got some amazing news for you. These can all be signs that your hormones are a little out of whack, but the majority of them can be improved by making changes to your diet and lifestyle.

What my clients say....

"period came on day 35, which I'm so happy about. Shortest cycle I've had in a long time! No cramps and no need for tablets this time either. Feel much better than I usually do when I have my period"

Can I let you in on a secret?  Making a baby can be really hard.

At the most basic level, you need an egg and a sperm.  Eggs take around 3-4 months to mature and sperm are produced in 2-3 month cycles.  So what you do in that preconception period can really make a big difference to both - from food choices, stress levels, sleep and more.

When you add on the range of other factors that need to be working properly to achieve a healthy pregnancy, such as hormones, genetics, nutritional status, toxic load, thyroid function, the microbiome and the immune system, you can see how it quickly becomes a really delicate balancing act.

I love to help cut through the noise and get clarity on what you are dealing with so you can regain control of your fertility and give yourself the best chance of getting pregnant.

Fertility Conception Pregnancy
I have two ways to support women and couples looking to focus on their health & boost their chances of having that dream baby
1. Fertility & Preconception Power Hour

What would you want to ask me if you had an hour to pick my brains?  A Power Hour is just that - a once-off 60 minute session where you can get the answers to all of the questions you have swirling around in your head.

A Power Hour is for you if you:

  • are just starting to try for a baby and are looking to know how to support your (and your partners) fertility naturally

  • have questions about nutrients you need and how to get them through diet and supplements

  • have been trying for a while but nothing is happening and want to understand how to improve your chances of getting pregnant

2. Making Baby - a Nutritional Therapy package targeting Fertility & Conception

Are you looking for the peace of mind that comes from having someone there to hold your hand through what can be an incredibly emotional journey?  Someone to take a deep breath with you and help you focus your mind and give you clarity on what you are actually dealing with?  Then look no further - 'Making Baby' is a coaching package offering 1:1 Nutritional Therapy support to women or couples wanting to boost fertility and maximise your chances of getting pregnant .

This is for you if you:

  • have a chronic condition that can impact fertility (PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis etc)

  • have been trying to conceive for more than 12 months or have suffered multiple miscarriages

  • are diagnosed with "unexplained infertility" or your partner has issues with his sperm

  • are undergoing IVF or other fertility treatments

and

  • want to be prepared, physically and emotionally, for whatever direction the journey might take

Over the course of 6 sessions, we'll look at the many factors that can impact your egg health, sperm health and overall fertility - hormone balance, nutrient status, lifestyle, toxic load, thyroid function etc - with the aim of identifying potential root causes of any fertility issues.  Your action plan will be tailored specifically to your needs and will guide you on how to rebalance your fertility through 4 key lenses - Nourishment, Lifestyle, the Microbiome and Supplements.

Have any of these thoughts crossed your mind?:

  • "I don't think we need help just yet"

  • "We can't afford it at the moment"

  • "We're saving for IVF, so this costs too much"

These are reservations that come up a lot, and it can mean that people only seek help when they are desperate and as a last resort.  In fact, the sooner you get any issues identified and addressed, the more straightforward it will be for you to get results and get your fertility back on track.  Nutritional therapy can help to maximise your chances of conceiving, but it is not a magic wand - it requires time and commitment to get the outcome you want.

Still a bit unsure about which option is right for you?
