You're in the
right place

And I'm right here with you

I’m Susan and I'm dedicated to offering support and guidance to women over 35 like you, who are struggling to juggle busy lives with symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.

The women I meet are loving, compassionate and hard-working. They give everything they have to doing and caring for those around them – be that partners, children, parents, friends. But they find it hard to offer that same level of love and attention to themselves. As a result, they feel exhausted, are constantly on the go and their own needs end up bottom of the pile.

It’s not that you’re not aware that things are changing. You know instinctively that you no longer feel like yourself. But amid everything else that’s going on in your hectic life, it can be really challenging to pin down exactly what it is that’s making you feel that way, let alone find the time to figure out how to sort it out.

I totally get it. I'm a 40-something year old woman too. I’m right in the thick of it with you, piecing together the mixture of things that help me to kick the drunken monkey out from behind the controls in my head and feel “normal” again.

But, regardless of what impression the internet might give you, looking after yourself at this life stage doesn’t need to be complicated. Connecting with women and helping them to find ways to make navigating this transition as simple as possible is what I live for. I want you to feel your absolute best, without having to give up your favourite foods or spend hours in the kitchen cooking multiple meals for your family.

You deserve to be the very best version of you.

Menopause has become big business in the last 12 months and there’s plenty of people out there who’ll tell you they have a miracle supplement or “perimenopause diet” that’s going to be the answer to all your prayers.

The reality is that there’s no single thing that’s going to make you feel better and relieve all your symptoms during perimenopause. We’re all different and what works for yer woman next door, might not work so well for you. It’s about building up a toolbox of things that you can use to your advantage as and when you need them so that you can cope with whatever gets thrown your way.

Through 1:1 mentoring, group programmes and public talks, I help women connect the dots between how they feel, the changes they see and what they can do to make themselves feel better. The aim is always to do it in a way that feels simple, practical, and stress-free. I enable them to get clear on the actions they can take that are going to be most effective for them, taking into account all the other plates they have spinning. I allow them space to talk and be heard with no judgement. I cheer them on, guide and motivate them so that they can achieve their health goals and get back to really living. And of course, we have the chats and a lot of laughs along the way.

If you don’t, who will? If not now, when?

I want to empower you to support your own health, now and into the future. Giving yourself this time is a gift, but not just for you. It has a ripple effect on the people around you too – you’re more patient and tolerant with your children; you don’t flip the lid over tiny things; you have a better relationship with your partner; you feel more sociable and connected to your friends. The list goes on. When you’re happier, life feels easier and more joyful.

My desire for all women is that they afford themselves the opportunity and time to seek out the knowledge that we all deserve. To really understand what’s happening to your body during this life stage. To acquire the tools and habits that you can pack into your toolbox so you can move through this transition with confidence – in yourself, in your ability to care for yourself and to advocate for yourself. And to allow yourself the time to put these tools to good use, putting yourself higher up your priority list with no guilt, regret or shame, so that you can live the life you want.
